Our pantry is fully staffed by volunteers
Guests have access to services at either our State Street or Pearl Street locations. Be sure to review the Guidelines and Rules below
1.
Guests begin the process to request an order by calling
Call us at (518) 347-1385 before 9:30 AM, if you call later we will put you on the list for the next day we are open. When you call, please leave your name (please spell it), phone number, and date of birth.
2.
Our volunteer callers will return your call
They will take your order and schedule a time for you to pick up your food. Please be patient and call only once, it may take a while before we get to you on the list, but we will call you. Please be near your phone to receive our call. We will call you two times, if you are unavailable you will need to call the next day to request food.
3.
Our volunteer packers diligently assemble your order
In accordance with the food points system your order is put together. Due to the high volume of orders filled each day, some items may unfortunately be out of stock at the time of packing. Our volunteers do their best to provide the food requested based on availability.
4.
Guests pick up their orders by appointment
In an effort to reduce wait times in long lines, please be timely picking up your order.
In an effort to reduce food waste, provide fresh ingredients, and meet the dietary and cultural needs of our guests, food orders are taken by our volunteer callers based on what is freshly available in on our shelves each day
Guidelines and Rules
NO WALK-INS ALLOWED
State Street is open Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday from 10:00 AM – 1:30 PM, and Saturday from 10:00 AM to 12:30 PM
Mont Pleasant is open Mondays from 3:00 PM – 6:00 PM
To place an order please call us after 5:00 PM the evening before you need food. You may call us until 9:30 AM the day of your pickup for both State Street and Mont Pleasant.
You may use the pantry every 28 days regardless of which location you receive your food order from. Please be sure you have waited long enough before you call.
